What you'll Learn in 10 Days
Early in the Week: Learn to Fly Ground School
Days 1–3: Mastering the Wing Before adding power, you master the physics of flight. We start with the absolute basics of gear setup and wing inflation, progressing quickly to “kiting”—the art of controlling the wing on the ground. By the end of this phase, you will have built the essential muscle memory for reverse launches and wing correction, learning the “dance” of the glider to ensure a safe transition to the air.
"They’ll come out on day one, and they’ll just start pulling the wing up, and then it’ll turn into like four hours of them running around like, ‘This is so cool." - Paul
Middle of the Week: First Flights
Days 4–6: Adding Power & Liftoff Now we introduce the paramotor. You will get comfortable with the weight, balance, and throttle control of the motor on the ground through taxi simulations. Once you demonstrate safe coordination of the wing and motor, you earn your first flight. Under constant radio supervision, you’ll launch, fly straight, and land, marking the emotional milestone of becoming a pilot.
“The learning curve from day one to day two is incredible. Like, it’s just, it’s a different person.”
- Ryan
Late in the Week: Finishing Touches
Days 7–10: Confidence & Independence The final days focus on turning you into a safe, self-reliant pilot. We move beyond basic flights to refine your launch and landing consistency, master turning patterns, and understand airspace awareness. You will practice critical emergency scenarios and gear maintenance, culminating in a final review that welcomes you into the community as a certified, confident pilot.
“So I think we have a really high bar of when we’re going to let people fly, and we’ll just spend the time — we’ll spend the days — getting them dialed.”
- Paul
Built on Muscle Memory
We believe skill is built, not bought. Our training emphasizes muscle memory progression so that when the moment comes, your response is automatic, not panicked.
What to Expect Physically
This is an athletic experience. Ask yourself:
Can you run 20 steps while wearing a motorized backpack?
Can you carry 60 lbs of gear comfortably?
If not, let’s talk before signing up. We’ll guide you to a safer starting point or extended plan.
